Cricket's Visit by Evan

Cricket's visit has been the best thing ever this year. Cricket is an alligator; he's fun to watch! When I have an assignment, I always look at him like he gives me the answer or something. I'm very thankful that he came here to our school. Cricket came on a Wednesday, the day of the 5th grade field trip to GYSTC. We got to pet Cricket. He was a scaley little one. I was scared to pet him at first, but I got over it. On Friday, the 21st of November, was Cricket's last day. Mrs. Cindy, a helper for the school, came in class and let us pet Cricket. It was shocking when I found out that he was leaving. Cricket was like a man's best friend to everyone. He was a very talented little alligator. It's hard for everyone because he's touched everyone's heart, even the teachers. Cricket is like a human friend, and when he leaves everyone is going to be sad. Cricket was saved near the National Park and was brought here. We love Cricket with all of our hearts.
