State Writing Test

We took the state writing test today, and I think the students did really well. Based on my observations, students worked really hard. They seemed focused. They planned, drafted, revised, edited, and rewrote their compositions. Most seemed to be satisfied with their topic and able to produce writing of more than a page. No matter what the scorers say, I know they've come a long way and really developed into writers.
