a twisted heart map

We have used our writer's notebooks to help us learn strategies writers use. One of the strategies was to make heart maps of things we love because writers generally pick topics of things they love and know about to write about. We then made lists of things we hate and things that bug us because sometimes we feel passionate about things we don't like too. Here is a very creative "hate map" that Jason made.

Dollie,
Great idea! How old are your kids? Good spelling except for one word.:) I also liked the way you used a head. Was this your idea or the boy's. It's also a good way to get to know your kids better. You never actually know what kids hate. I thought it was cute that he hated "girly girls" whatever those are.:)
